LATTYmix RU 6812 D

Stainless steel top-entry vessel seal optimized for light-duty loads up to 8 bar. Standardized according to DIN 28136 / 28141 / 28154.

Standardized double lubricated housing, incorporating a lifetime-greased bearing and standard mechanical seals, designed for top-entry vessel applications. This version is optimized for light-duty loads up to 8 bar, offering an excellent balance between efficiency, simplicity, and operating cost. Factory pre-set and tested standard housing, ensuring reliable commissioning. It is independent of the direction of rotation. Standard mechanical seals (type U68) are kept in stock for immediate availability. The ball bearing, lubricated for life, allows an angular misalignment of ± 0.5°. The design requires no adjustable shims or pivoting adjustments, simplifying installation. The system accommodates thermal expansion of the shaft, with axial movement of ± 2 mm, without affecting performance. In the event of pressure reversal in the vessel, the product-side seal remains operational thanks to the retained stationary ring. The assembly withstands high starting torques thanks to shrink-fitted stationary rings. No shaft marking occurs due to the clamped drive collar. Both mechanical seals operate independently, ensuring enhanced safety in double seal configurations. Finally, the housing is protected against contamination sources by a V-ring seal.

Friction faces : Product-side faces: Silicon carbide (SiC) / Silicon carbide (SiC). Atmospheric-side faces: Carbon (C) / Silicon carbide (SiC). Silicon carbide (SiC) / silicon carbide (SiC) version available on request.
