Standardized double lubricated housing incorporating a lifetime-greased bearing and standard mechanical seals, designed for top-entry vessel applications. This reinforced version is intended for heavy-duty loads up to 18 bar, ensuring robustness and performance in the most demanding operating conditions. Factory pre-set and tested standard housing, ensuring fast and reliable commissioning. It is independent of the direction of rotation and integrates type B 4212 mechanical seals as well as a lifetime-greased angular contact ball bearing capable of accommodating an angular misalignment of ± 0.5°. Its design requires no pivoting adjustment shims, simplifying installation and maintenance. The system accommodates thermal expansion of the shaft with an axial displacement of ± 2 mm, without affecting performance. In the event of pressure reversal in the vessel, the product-side mechanical seal remains fully operational thanks to the retained stationary ring. The assembly also withstands high starting torques thanks to shrink-fitted stationary rings. The clamped drive collar prevents any shaft marking, while the independence of the two mechanical seals ensures enhanced safety in double seal configurations. Finally, the housing is protected against potential sources of contamination by a V-ring seal.
