This model includes an auxiliary seal used as a quench feature. Its unique fibrous material makes it water absorbent, thus capable of supporting some water shortage. Thanks to its quench device, CARTseal B 24610 Q increases seal life expectancy on crystallizing, solidifying or vaporizing products. Mechanical seal, 100% approved. Delivered with FKM (v4) or EPDM (E1) seal. Imperial version available.
